The Crimson Cliffs Mustangs waltzed into their contest on Friday with three straight wins but they left with four. They pulled ahead with a 65-64 photo finish over Pine View. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Sean Felts continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 35 points along with seven rebounds and six blocks. He hasn't dropped below 15points for four straight games. Another player making a difference was McKay Lindquist, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Several Panthers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nash Schroeder, who scored 18 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Griffen Shepherd was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Crimson Cliffs' win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Pine View, their loss dropped their record down to 11-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crimson Cliffs will take on Dixie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pine View, they will head out on the road to challenge Hurricane at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hurricane is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.
