Northfield's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Eden Hoover, who scored 10 points along with 5 steals. Another player making a difference was Callie Hoffman, who scored 14 points along with 9 rebounds.
Southwood's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Northfield, they have yet to lose a game at home this season, leaving them with a 2-8 record.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Southwood have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 26.2 rebounds per game.
