After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Garden, the Steiner Dragons were happy to have found some success on Friday. They walked away with a 24-17 win over Kimberton Waldorf. That's another feather in the cap for Steiner, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Despite the loss, Kimberton Waldorf saw an underclassman step up: Franklin Matichak scored eight points along with three steals.
The victory got Steiner back to even at 2-2. As for Kimberton Waldorf, they are on an 18-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.
Steiner does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kimberton Waldorf, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 41-25 defeat vs. Tournament Opponent on the 9th.
