The Warriors beat Lexington Christian Academy on Wednesday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 12-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Xavier Bain was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Wheeler is 2-0-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 1-2 otherwise. Bain was even better at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, four stolen bases, and three runs. Bain is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

In other batting news, Jacob Himelfarb was incredible, going 3-for-4 with five stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Those RBI marked the first that he has brought in this season. Connor Mahoney was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple.

Meanwhile, Beaver Country Day had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-7 win over Concord Academy on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Beaver have posted since May 22, 2024.

Wheeler now has a winning record of 3-2-1. As for Beaver Country Day, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
