If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Carencro. On Friday they take on Northside at 6:00 PM. The two teams have had a rocky road up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.
It was all tied up at halftime, but Carencro weren't quite McDonogh 35's equal in the second half when they met last Friday. Carencro took a 7-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of McDonogh 35.
Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: Northside lost to Avoyelles, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 26-66.
Carencro were fully in charge the last time the two teams met, breezing past Northside 49-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for Carencro since the team won't have home-field advantage. Watch the game and check back on MaxPreps to see if the change in venue makes a difference.
