Richfield's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They blew past the Millard Eagles 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won five in a row.

Jerzy Moon paced Richfield's offense, picking up nine kills. Moon got some help from Adrie Seely and her 26 assists. Moon was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Millard's loss came despite strong showings from Emily Stephenson and Olivia Bassett. Stephenson had eight digs and two aces, while Bassett had eight digs, seven kills, and two aces.

Richfield now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Millard, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.

Richfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Uintah on the 16th. As for Millard, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against San Juan on the 16th.
