Alleluia Community had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They breezed by Heritage Christian Academy at home to the tune of 62-19 on Thursday. Alleluia Community has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 22 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Alleluia Community to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alley McBride, who scored 29 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points McBride has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Reese Janik, who scored 21 points.
Alleluia Community has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. As for Heritage Christian Academy, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost ten of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.
Alleluia Community didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 40-37 victory vs. The Habersham School on the 9th. Heritage Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
