Meanwhile, there's no place like home for St. Cecilia, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 55-0 victory over Gibbon. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Bluehawks' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Another player making a difference was Steven Gutierrez, who rushed for 100 yards and one score on only 13 carries.
Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something St. Cecilia proved: they limited Gibbon to a paltry 1.6 yards per carry. The team can thank Talon Wiedner for the heroic effort on defense: he. St. Cecilia didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 13.3.
St. Cecilia didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jonathan Carpenter and Trevor Lindauer.
