Creekside's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Derek Rivers, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Rivers hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Alex Collier, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds.
Creekside's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Fleming Island, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season.
Creekside will head out on the road to challenge Ponte Vedra at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ponte Vedra will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive. Fleming Island won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Gulf Breeze at 10:30 a.m. on January 13th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (Gulf Breeze is ranked 252nd, while Fleming Island is ranked 249th).
