The Patel Trailblazers will be playing at home against the Tampa Prep Terrapins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Patel focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Wednesday.
Patel's three-game losing streak came to an end. They snuck past Brandon Academy with a 40-36 win. The victory was just what Patel needed coming off of a 57-34 defeat in their prior game.
Patel had a senior duo take command as SIMARKAE MCLEAN scored eight points along with five steals and ARZ SOBOH scored ten points. ELLA KRAPOHL was another key contributor, scoring five points.
Meanwhile, Tampa Prep came up short against Clearwater on Thursday and fell 59-47. Tampa Prep has not had much luck with Clearwater recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
The victory got Patel back to even at 10-10. As for Tampa Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 11-8.
