When it comes to explaining why Halls lost, one person who can't be blamed is Chandler Gamble. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 rebounds. The game was Gamble's 12th in a row with at least ten points. Jake Lane was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Howard's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Halls, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Howard will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Glasgow at 5:00 p.m. on January 4th. Glasgow will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Halls, they will head out on the road to face off against Carter at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
