There's no place like home for Morgan Park Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat the Christian Heritage Academy Lions 86-47. The Warriors' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Morgan Park Academy found their leader in freshman Ivan Fullilove, who went 10 for 19 on his way to 24 points and eight steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ade Denton-Vance, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.

Morgan Park Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in five consecutive contests.

Christian Heritage Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Charles Van Tuinen, who went 7 of 12 on his way to 17 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Acres, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.

Morgan Park Academy's win ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-3. As for Christian Heritage Academy, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Morgan Park Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 61-55 victory against Daystar Academy on the 12th. As for Christian Heritage Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 69-21 defeat against Beacon Academy on the 13th.
