The Lakes Lancers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 70-27 victory over Spanaway Lake. The victory was familiar territory for Lakes who now have five in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lakes to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ehmarii Mcchristian, who scored 15 points along with five steals. Mcchristian hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Samara Oliver, who scored 22 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Lakes is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Spanaway Lake, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-8.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Lincoln the next time they take the court. Lakes will head out to face Lincoln at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Spanaway Lake will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
