Basketball Game Preview: Southern Fulton Indians vs. Everett Warriors

Southern Fulton has gone 8-2 against Everett recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Southern Fulton Indians will venture away from home to face off against the Everett Warriors at 7:30 p.m. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Southern Fulton has struggled recently with three losses in a row, while Everett will arrive with five straight wins.

Southern Fulton is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Northern Bedford County on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Southern Fulton came up short against Northern Bedford County, falling 61-38.

Southern Fulton might have lost, but man, Sam Stotler was a machine: he went 7 of 15 en route to 22 points and four steals. Those 22 points gave Stotler a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brooks Norris, who posted six points and seven rebounds.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Everett). They came out on top against Juniata Valley by a score of 82-70 on Tuesday.

Everett pushed their record up to 10-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.3 points per game. As for Southern Fulton, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.

Southern Fulton came up short against Everett when the teams last played on January 9th, falling 44-38. Can Southern Fulton avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
