The Centennial Bulldogs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Cheyenne 95-63 on the road. The win was a breath of fresh air for Centennial as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Centennial was led to victory by Bryce Iwuoha and RJ Nance. Iwuoha dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds, while Nance scored 21 points along with four steals. Those 21 points set a new season-high mark for him. Jaylen Kelly was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
The victory got Centennial back to even at 6-6. As for Cheyenne, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.
Centennial is on the road again on Wednesday and play against Sunny Hills at 2:30 p.m. on December 27th. Sunny Hills will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 175th in California, while Centennial is ranked 13th in Nevada). Cheyenne won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Basic at 2:30 p.m. on December 27th. Hopefully Basic focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight on Tuesday.
