The Van Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Tolsia Rebels at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Van is no doubt hoping to put an end to a ten-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Last Tuesday, things could have been worse for Van, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 51-33 loss to Mount View. Van has not had much luck with Mount View recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Meanwhile, Tolsia scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They slipped by Expression Prep Academy 96-95. The victory was some much needed relief for Tolsia as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Parker Watts was his usual excellent self, shooting 5-for-9 from long range and dropping a double-double on 55 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Evan Ball was another key contributor, scoring five points along with five assists and two steals.
Van's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Tolsia, their win bumped their record up to 11-6.
Van was taken down by Tolsia 87-40 in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Watts, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and ten rebounds.
