Potts Camp had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Falkner Eagles by a score of 3-1. The victory continues a trend for the Cardinals in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won six in a row.

If you add up the scores from across all four sets (86-85) Potts Camp actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 10-25, 25-18, 25-21.

Falkner's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Potts Camp will venture away from home to square off against Pine Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Falkner, they will welcome West Union at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
