The Brock Eagles extended their postseason success on Thursday against the Muleshoe Mules. They breezed by the Mules on the road to the tune of 76-13. Considering Brock has won seven matches by more than 56 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Brody Woods was his usual excellent self, rushing for 44 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 133 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 passes.
The victory (which was Brock's eighth in a row) raised their record to 9-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.5 points per game. As for Muleshoe, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-3.
Brock will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Clyde at 1:00 p.m. on November 24th. Clyde will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 309th, while Brock is ranked 107th). Muleshoe does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
