Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Wendell walked away with it. They blew past The Ambrose School 3-0 on Thursday. The result was nothing new for Wendell, who have now won 14 matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit The Ambrose School with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Tony Trujillo, Edgar Tena, and Cesar Muralles.

The victory (which was Wendell's fifth in a row) raised their record to 17-1-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 35 goals over those five matches. As for The Ambrose School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-5-2.

Looking ahead, Wendell will challenge McCall-Donnelly at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Ambrose School has already played their next contest (against Bonners Ferry), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
