The Greenbrier West Cavaliers are on the road again on Monday and plays the Ravenswood Red Devils at 11:00 a.m. on February 5th.
Last Friday, Greenbrier West ended up a good deal behind the Highlanders and lost 55-37. Greenbrier West has not had much luck with the Highlanders recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Meanwhile, Ravenswood waltzed into their contest on Friday with five straight wins but they left with six. They strolled past Wahama with points to spare, taking the game 68-52. Given Ravenswood's advantage in MaxPreps' West Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 25th, while the White Falcons are ranked 286th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Greenbrier West's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Ravenswood, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.
