Apex came out on top against Pine Forest on Tuesday thanks in part to Leah Kendall's efforts. Kendall went 1-for-3 with five stolen bases and one run. The effort marked the most stolen bases she has had since back in March.

Kendall and Apex will take on East Chapel Hill on Friday. The Wildcats will enter the matchup having just beaten Cardinal Gibbons, so the Cougars will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
