The Onteora Eagles can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Dover 51-23 at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Onteora has managed all season.
Dover's loss came despite strong showings from Caden Green and Justin Cardwell. Green scored eight points along with 11 rebounds, while Cardwell scored six points along with five rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Jefferson Reyes, who scored two points along with six rebounds and two blocks.
Onteora's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Dover, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.
Onteora will head out on the road to take on Webutuck at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Webutuck is on a four-game streak of home losses, Onteora a seven-game streak of away losses (dating back to last season), but someone's luck is about to change. Dover will take on Millbrook at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Millbrook has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 319 points over their last five contests.
