Softball Recap: East Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

East came into Monday's game having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Glenwood Tigers on Monday as they made off with a 26-4 victory. The Tartans' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

East's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Glenwood, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East will square off against South Gallia at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tartans are facing the Rebels at the right time seeing as the Rebels are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Glenwood, they will host Eastern at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
