Highland's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ty Goeckner, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 19 rebounds. The matchup was Goeckner's ninth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Noah Watson, who scored 19 points along with nine rebounds.
The victory (which was Highland's fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.8 points per game. As for Genesee, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
