Basketball Recap: Kaitlyn Hess and Aubri Korfhagen Secure Win for Seton

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Seton on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Ursuline Academy Lions with a sharp 60-40 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Saints, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Seton was led to victory by Aubri Korfhagen and Kaitlyn Hess. Korfhagen went 7 for 15 on her way to 21 points and five rebounds, while Hess went 6 of 13 en route to 17 points. The dominant performance gave Korfhagen a new career-high in points. Annie Busam was another key player, putting up eight points.

Seton smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in eight consecutive games.
