The Collinsville Pirates won the last time they faced the Era Hornets, and things went their way on Friday too. Collinsville walked away with a 65-54 victory over Era. The win made it back-to-back wins for Collinsville.
Collinsville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Chad Davidson, who scored 18 points along with seven assists and six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Davidson has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Carpenter, who scored 21 points along with two steals.
Collinsville's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Era, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-12 record this season.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Chico the next time they take the court. Collinsville will head out to face Chico at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Era will host them at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
