The General McLane Lancers will be playing at home against the McDowell Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. General McLane has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
General McLane pushed their score all the way to 74 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Harbor Creek by a score of 77-74. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game last Tuesday (63), General McLane still had to take the loss.
Meanwhile, McDowell unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell to Cathedral Prep 64-60. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as McDowell came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 23rd, while Cathedral Prep is ranked 159th).
General McLane has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season. As for McDowell, their defeat ended a 13-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-2.
