Weddington lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being KJ Younger, who scored 23 points along with eight rebounds. Younger hasn't dropped below 18 points for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Grant Hamilton, who scored 23 points.
Chambers has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 22-8 record this season. As for Weddington, their loss ended a 13-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 27-2.
Chambers will head out on the road to square off against Lake Norman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Chambers knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 30 contests -- so hopefully Lake Norman likes a good challenge.
