Kennedy is 8-0 against Hancock since January of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. Having just played yesterday, the Kennedy Crusaders will get right back to it and host the Hancock Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on February 9th. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Thursday, everything went Kennedy's way against Chicago Washington as Kennedy made off with a 57-33 win. 57 seems to be a good number for Kennedy as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Kennedy had a senior duo take command as Michael Gallas scored 19 points and Patryk Baliczek dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gallas has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Joseph Dahl, who scored six points along with ten rebounds.
Hancock can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They managed a 40-36 victory over Chicago Washington.
Kennedy has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-13 record this season. As for Hancock, their victory bumped their record up to 4-23.
Kennedy was able to grind out a solid win over Hancock in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, winning 59-50. Will Kennedy repeat their success, or does Hancock have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
