The Raymond/South Bend Ravens will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against the Chief Leschi Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Raymond/South Bend will be strutting in after a victory while Chief Leschi will be coming in after a loss.
In what's become a running theme this season, Raymond/South Bend gave their fans yet another huge victory on Wednesday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 55-24 victory over Ocosta. The victory was just what Raymond/South Bend needed coming off of a 71-31 loss in their prior contest.
Raymond/South Bend's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kassie Koski led the charge by dropping a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. Koski is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Avalyn Stigall, who scored 15 points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Chief Leschi's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They fell to Ocosta 46-42.
Raymond/South Bend's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Chief Leschi, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.
Everything came up roses for Raymond/South Bend against Chief Leschi when the teams last played back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 61-28 victory. Does Raymond/South Bend have another victory up their sleeve, or will Chief Leschi turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
