On Monday, Ridgeview College Prep came up short against El Dorado and fell 59-51.
El Dorado's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kamari Brown, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 15 rebounds. Brown is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games he's played. Another player making a difference was Christian Young, who scored 23 points along with two steals.
Ridgeview College Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for El Dorado, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
Ridgeview College Prep will head out on the road to square off against ASU Prep Poly at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for El Dorado, they will be playing at home against Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Varsity Opponent has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 510 points over their last seven games.
