Dashaun Mckoy Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Harrells Christian Academy had to settle for second even though Dashaun Mckoy put up the best numbers he has all season. Mckoy rushed for 123 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, and also picked up 34 receiving yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He didn't just play on offense: he also made 11 total tackles and defended three passes in addition to snagging an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown.
The defeat snapped Harrells Christian Academy's winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 6-2 record. Mckoy will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Trinity Christian on Friday.
