Sherwood has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. The Sherwood Bowmen and the Cedar Valley Aviators will round out the year against one another at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday at.
Sherwood's 20-8 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They suffered a rough 56-33 loss at the hands of Westview on Wednesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Sherwood has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Cedar Valley scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They secured a 60-54 W over Timpanogos.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cedar Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Owen Bawden, who scored 13 points along with four blocks. Those 13 points set a new season-high mark for him. Hunter Larson was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with nine rebounds.
Sherwood bumped their record down to 2-5 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Cedar Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.
