Last Monday, Salem County Vo-Tech took a serious blow against Wildwood, falling 70-29. While losing is never fun, Salem County Vo-Tech can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 401st, while Wildwood is ranked 95th).
Meanwhile, Pitman's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. Their tough 53-31 defeat to Clayton might stick with them for a while. Pitman has not had much luck with Clayton recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Salem County Vo-Tech's loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Pitman, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.
