After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Page, the Piedmont Classical Bobcats were happy to have found some success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Bethany 70-19 on the road. With Piedmont Classical ahead 47-10 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Piedmont Classical got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ja'el Lawson out in front who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Cameron Anderson , who scored 11 points.
Piedmont Classical's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Bethany, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Piedmont Classical will take on Leadership Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Leadership Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three games. As for Bethany, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against College Prep & Leadership Academy at 7:30 p.m. College Prep & Leadership Academy is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
