Andrew Hoff posted a new career-low in walks on Wednesday. E.D. White had no answer to Hoff as he struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits (and only one walk). Hoff has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

Hoff and Pope John Paul II will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy at 5:00 p.m. on April 7th. Sadly, Hoff's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped Pope John Paul II's six-game streak of wins at home.
