Elma barely beat Columbia the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles were the clear victors by an 11-4 margin over the Bruins on Friday. The Eagles' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Elma has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-2-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Columbia, they dropped their record down to 3-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Elma will square off against Montesano at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. As for Columbia, they will challenge King's Way Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
