Gibson County took a serious blow against Adamsville, falling 41-6. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Gibson County in their matchups with Adamsville: they've now lost three in a row.
Jaxon Bailey threw for 40 yards and a touchdown. Avonte Garrett was his top target, picking up 44 receiving yards and no touchdowns.
Adamsville was led to victory by Avery Mccormick and Ben Hill. Mccormick gained 86 total yards and three touchdowns, while Hill threw for 136 yards and four touchdowns. Mccormick is on a roll when it comes to solo tackles, as he's now made six or more in the last three games he's played.
Gibson County's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 1-8. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 16.5 points per game. As for Adamsville, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Jackson Central Merry has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since August 18th. As for Adamsville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Camden Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
