St. Michael the Archangel's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Janaye Martinez, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 18 rebounds, and Anjalia Bryant , who scored 20 points along with four blocks and three steals. The matchup was Bryant 's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Skylar Walston, who scored four points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, Chancellor scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They blew past Fredericksburg Christian 77-35 at home. That looming 77-35 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Chancellor yet this season.
St. Michael the Archangel is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record this season. Chancellor's record is now 7-2.
