Even though the Grace Christian Warriors scored an imposing 58 points on Thursday, Rappahannock County still came out on top. Rappahannock County enjoyed a cozy 77-58 win over Grace Christian. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Rappahannock County also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Justin Hain, who scored 25 points. Hain hasn't dropped below 16 points for 11 straight games. Davis Reid was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with eight rebounds and six assists.
Rappahannock County has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Grace Christian, they dropped their record down to 12-8 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Rappahannock County won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Madison County at 7:30 p.m. on February 9th. Rappahannock County has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Grace Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
