After having lost a blowout to St. Ansgar in their previous game, West Fork was happy to find some success on Friday. West Fork narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Lake Mills 14-12. The success represented a nice turnaround for West Fork, who in their last game suffered a tough 21-53 loss.
The win got West Fork back to even at 1-1. The defeat dropped Lake Mills's record to 0-2.
West Fork are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Central Springs next week at 7:00 PM. As for Lake Mills, they will face off against Winnebago Lutheran Academy.
