Anderson Prep Academy came out on top against Seton Catholic by a score of  8-3  on Tuesday. Anderson Prep Academy's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
  Julian Tyler made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out 12 batters over  six innings while giving up just one earned  (and two unearned) runs off   three  hits. Tyler was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-2.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  James Hornocker, who  went 4-for-4 with five  RBI and a  run. Another player making a difference was  Samuel Viurquiz, who  went 2-for-4 with a  double and  an  RBI.
 Meanwhile, Irvington Preparatory Academy put the finishing touches on their third blowout victory of the season  on Wednesday. They blew past Riverside 32-2. While fans of Irvington Preparatory Academy might be used to big wins, the 30-run margin marked the team's biggest one yet.
 Like Anderson Prep Academy, Irvington Preparatory Academy also got a great game from a two-way player:  Owen Kriech. He  struck out eight batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Kriech was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring four  runs and  stealing three bases while  getting on base  in all five of his plate appearances. He has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times he's  played.
 In other batting news,  Cortez Jenkins was a standout: he scored four  runs and  stole four bases while going 3-for-6.  Angel Almea was another key contributor,  going 2-for-5 with three  stolen bases, two  runs,  and a  triple.
 Anderson Prep Academy  made their fans wait, but they earned their first win of the season to make their record 1-3. As for Irvington Preparatory Academy,  the  win  made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 4-2.
 Anderson Prep Academy might still be hurting after the  29-4 defeat they got from Irvington Preparatory Academy  in their previous matchup  back in April of 2023. Can Anderson Prep Academy avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
