The Milan Indians entered their tilt with the Tri Titans with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Milan secured a 14-8 W over Tri on Friday. That's another feather in the cap for Milan, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Milan can attribute much of their success to Mason Green, who rushed for 95 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. Austin Green and his 80 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Milan's victory.
Milan is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Tri, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.
Milan will be playing at home against North Decatur at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Decatur knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matches -- so hopefully Milan likes a good challenge. Tri does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
