There's no place like home for Tulelake, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Saturday. They really took it to the Chester Volcanoes for the full four quarters, racking up  a  54-20 victory. Considering the Honkers have won three matchups by more than 29  points this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to  Max Robison and  Zeke Perez. Robison rushed for 218 yards and three  TDs while picking up 10.9 yards per carry while  Perez rushed for 134 yards and three  scores while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. Perez also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing one fumble and making two total tackles.
 Tulelake didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Chester to a completion percentage of just 42.3%. The team can thank  Dathan Kilano for the heroic effort on defense: he. Tulelake now  has a winning record of 4-3. As for Chester, their defeat was  their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 3-6.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tulelake will square off against Hayfork at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Honkers will need to watch out since the Timberjacks have now posted at least 31  points  every time they've taken the field this season. As for Chester, they will face off against Burney at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday.
