The Mercy School Institute Mustangs will head out on the road to face off against the Wesleyan Christian Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mercy School Institute will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings (they are ranked 265th, while Wesleyan Christian is ranked 83rd).
Last Friday, Mercy School Institute strolled past ASTEC Charter with points to spare, taking the game 28-14. The win made it back-to-back wins for Mercy School Institute.
Ziyam A Khan was his usual excellent self, scoring 13 points.
In what's become a running theme this season, Wesleyan Christian gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They blew past Bluejacket, posting a 64-18 win at home. Winning may never get old, but Wesleyan Christian sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Mercy School Institute's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Wesleyan Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season.
