Harding Prep has played every game this season on their home court, but they'll have to hit the road on Friday. Harding Prep and the Mount St. Mary Rockets will face off at 7:15 p.m. on December 15th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Harding Prep will be strutting in after a win while Mount St. Mary will be coming in after a loss.
Last Friday, Harding Prep didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Southwest Covenant, but they still walked away with a 51-45 victory.
Meanwhile, Mount St. Mary was beaten by Westmoore 65-32 on Friday. While losing is never fun, Mount St. Mary can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 273rd, while Westmoore is ranked 99th).
Harding Prep's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Mount St. Mary, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
Harding Prep came up short against Mount St. Mary in their previous matchup back in January of 2015, falling 68-62. Can Harding Prep avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
