Tekoa-Oakesdale/Rosalia extended the longest winning streak in 2B Southeast this week by beating Dayton, 34-0. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
Tekoa-Oakesdale/Rosalia took down the Bulldogs 34-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Tri-Cities Prep's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Evan Whitsett threw for 51 and two touchdowns and Dane Pedersen had 38 yards receiving. On the ground Bailey Rivas chipped in 156 yards. Josh Guajardo helped Tri-Cities Prep's passing attack out by catching three balls for 12 yards.
Joseph Portch made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Jaguars beat Asotin. The 5-foot-10 sophomore recorded two fumbles and racked up one sack.
Tri-Cities Prep's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Jaguars feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Whitsett has thrown for 447 yards and eight touchdowns this season, while Guajardo has 18 catches for 186 yards. Rivas leads the league in rushing with 724 yards.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when Tri-Cities Prep takes on Mabton. Dan Whitsett's team's offense has scored 140 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while the Vikings have allowed only 172 on the year.
A big matchup in 2B Southeast this week will be when the Panthers take on Kaleb Madison's team. Asotin is in fifth place, while the Nighthawks are in first place.
