The Alma Cardinals had already won 12 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.4 points), and they went ahead and made it 13 on Monday. They came out on top against Cambridge by a score of 44-36. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Alma also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
It was another big night for Addison Siebels, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Riley Scott was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Alma's win bumped their record up to 15-1. As for Cambridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-6.
Alma on the road again on Thursday and play against Southern Valley at 7:30 p.m. on January 25th. Southern Valley will be looking to extend their current 11-game winning streak. As for Cambridge, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bertrand at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bertrand has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
