The Borger Bulldogs lost against the West Plains Wolves back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Borger took a serious blow against West Plains, falling 83-46. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Borger in their matchups with West Plains: they've now lost four in a row.
Borger's loss came despite strong showings from Tahqulin Brooks and Kaeden Jennings. Brooks dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds, while Jennings scored 21 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Brooks has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 15 times he's played.
Borger's defeat was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-23. As for West Plains, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 18-9 record this season.
Borger will look to defend their home court on Friday against Randall at 6:00 p.m. One thing working in Randall's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 23 games. West Plains is on the road again on Friday and plays Pampa at 7:30 p.m. on February 9th. Pampa is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
