San Diego Jewish Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jack Silberstein, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds. Ethan Abeles was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven steals and six rebounds.
Leading Mar Vista to victory were Darius Montgomery and Omar Krenbeh. Montgomery scored 18 points along with six assists and five rebounds, while Krenbeh dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jhaziel Corporan Catano, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds.
San Diego Jewish Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Mar Vista, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-5.
